How do I activate Family Sharing for a family purchase?

How to invite family members, link accounts, and activate shared Premium features.

If you’ve purchased a premium family subscription and want to share it with family, make sure everything is set up correctly:

✅ Step 1: Set Up Family Sharing

On the purchaser’s device:

• Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Family Sharing
• Ensure your family members are invited and have accepted

On each family member’s device:

• Go to Settings > [Their Name] > Family Sharing
• Confirm they are part of the family group

✅ Step 2: Enable Purchase Sharing

On the purchaser’s device:

• Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Family > Purchase Sharing
• Turn ON “Share Purchases with Family”

On each family member’s device: (‼️ IF YOU SKIP THIS STEP, IT'LL NOT WORK ‼️)

• Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Family > Purchase Sharing
• Turn ON “Share Purchases with Family”

✅ Step 3: Restore the Purchase in Chillio

On each family member’s device:

• Install and open Chillio
• Go to Settings
• Tap “Restore Purchases”

Your premium access should now be unlocked!

💡 Still not working?

Make sure:

• The App Store and iCloud are using the same Apple ID
• Devices have been restarted
• The purchase is showing as Family Sharing supported in the App Store
