Why aren't my movies or shows showing up from WebDAV / FTP accounts?

Common causes and fixes for missing content when using WebDAV or FTP sources.

Chillio only displays recognized content, meaning media it was able to successfully match to metadata on TMDB (The Movie Database).

Here’s how it works:

Chillio reads your file names and tries to match them to known movies and shows using TMDB.
If a file isn’t showing up, it's likely due to:
🧾 A bad or unclear file name
📅 A missing or incorrect release year
❓ The content doesn’t exist on TMDB

✅ Include the release year in the filename for movies (e.g. The Matrix (1999).mkv)
✅ Use clean, standard naming formats (avoid excessive tags or random strings)
✅ Prefer English titles, as TMDB primarily uses those for lookup
✅ If a title has multiple versions, try the official TMDB title (you can search themoviedb.org)

📌 Chillio’s matching isn’t flawless, but with good naming, it gets pretty close!
