How to set up external subtitles?

Import and configure SRT/ASS/other subtitle files, including language and encoding settings.

Chillio supports OpenSubtitles.com so you can enjoy high-quality subtitles when your content doesn’t include them.

✅ Setup Instructions:

1. Go to Settings > Manage Account > OpenSubtitles
2. Enter your OpenSubtitles.com credentials

⚠️ Make sure you're using a .com account (not .org), many users accidentally use the wrong one!

🎬 Using OpenSubtitles in the Player:

1. Start playing a movie or show
2. Open the subtitle menu
3. Tap OpenSubtitles
4. Select your preferred language
5. Browse and pick from the available subtitle files

The number next to each option shows how many people downloaded it, use it to find the most reliable one!
